*sneaks in* --- *sigh* It's been over a month since my last update and I apologize. I fell behind in schoolwork, I started a second job, and I'm transferring collges come spring. In other words, I was busy and this fell to the wayside. Setting aside finals it's all downhill from here, so I'm anticipating more time. I'm also thinking of making this a community instead of a personal journal. I don't like having to log in and out everytime I want to update. A community would be easier, so I'll look into that. For now, please enjoy my update and expect better things for the future. (please forgive any spelling errors...it's quite late)

College has taken it's toll, and it's only October. I hope you can forgive me for lack of updates. I hope this update makes up for it. I have a 4-day weekend coming up, so the next update will be Sunday. I'm hoping to do another musical update soon (I bought a lot of soundtracks recently). Thanks for all your patience.

Hey all. Not much to say this update. July hasn't been a good moonth for me so I'm looking forward to it's end. Hope you all like this week's update. I noticed lots of people grabbed the new BoA songs I put up a few weeks ago, so I'm putting up the whole album. It's pretty good. Some people say it's not her best, but I rather like it. I never really "love" BoA albums anyway, it's always like half the album (and the songs I like are usually the singles). <3

Artist BoA
Album Girls On Top
Language Korean

Moto
- A great opening track. The synthesizers are kind of cool. I don't know how to describe the style. I almost want to compare it to "My Name" because it's got a similar feel/beat.
Do You Love Me
- Slower track and a strong beat. It have a heavier feel to it. >.> Sort of reminds me of those slower rap songs that were played at school dances (and certain couples would *ahem* dance a certain way to).
Girls On Top
- The title track and probably my favorite. I love the vocals on this one. A great dance song.
If You Were Here
- Ballad-type song with guitar and piano in the background. BoA is so good at putting emotion into her singing. This one sounds rather wistful to me.
Love Can Make A Miracle
- Another slower song, but with a more positive feel to it than the last song. I really like the chorus for some reason.
Addiction
- Good song, but I think the background sounds (like synthesized brass) get a bit repetitive.
Freak In Me
- I thought this one just sounded like the other upbeat songs. Doesn't really stand out.
Garden In The Air
- Very light sounding *sways a bit* Kinda cute.
I Spy
- Unfortunately the song cuts off at the end, but all-in-all I like it.
Can't Let Go
- Another slow song with a sort of R&B feel to it.
Heroine
- Not sure how to describe this because I think BoA's vocals sound a little different in this one. Not overly so, but still... I think it's all the short, slightly choppy notes.
Breathe Again
- Probably one of my favorite tracks from the album. Gentle, sweet sounding. Very "BoA-esque".
Autumn Letter
- Very cute acapella that I know I've put up before, but I still love it <3

Album Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban
Composer John Williams

I do love this soundtrack. It has to be my favorite of the 3 HP movies that are out. I find it kind of fascinating that John Williams can keep composing such wonderful music after doing so much in his career (for those who don't know he's done many movie soundtracks). Music makes the scene in a movie, imagine some of the most exciting scenes in any movie without music ---- very dull. Each of the scenes these songs appear in perfectly capture the emotion and action. I'm a bit sad he isn't composing for the next movie, but it'll be interesting to hear another composer's take on the music.

If you don't wish to download the entire CD the bolded tracks are some my favs (though truly I love the entire album) <3

Lumos! (Hedwig's Theme)
Aunt Marge's Waltz
The Knight Bus

Song Gateway
Artist Yoko Kanno (she's the composer anyway...)
Genre Jazz
Comments Cowboy Bebop has to be my favorite anime in terms of music. It's consistantly good, and there's probably only a few songs I don't like. This is sort of what I'd consider "classic jazz", or rather I should say it's what I think of when I think of Jazz :3 The piano is great and the brass intruments are awesome <3

Song Semero, tsuyoku nare
Artist Shirota Yuu
Language Japanese
Genre Musical (Tennis no Oujisama/Prince of Tennis)
Comments Not sure if I uploaded this when the CD came out --- but whatever I love Shirota Yuu. Been kinda following his career a bit when he started doing the Sailor Moon musicals, then he moved to the Prince of Tennis myus. Very glad he did as I hear he's a pretty darn good Tezuka. He's got the look down as well. I think this song is pretty good, but not Yuu's best. Mostly cuz Tezuka has to sound a certain way and Yuu doesn't naturally sound that way.

Song Golden Pair 2
Artist Tsuchiya Yuichi & Nagayama Takashi
Language Japanese
Genre Musical (Tennis no Oujisama/Prince of Tennis)
Comments Ohhhh Tuti and Nagayan (*points to guys in my main icon*) are so cute together :3 They have a real nice blend. This is a slower version of the original "Golden Pair". Very gentle, soft, and cute.

Genre Pop
Comments If there's one jpop group that pulls you in and never lets go it's Morning Musume. I even got my friend Stefanie's friend Josh to like it >.> he swears revenge on us both. I simply love this song. It's so fun and cute. The Momosu at this time had wonderful harmony if you ask me.

(beh I know that pic of momosu isn't exact [it's on of the new shuffle groups] but I couldn't find any other pics)

Artist Morning Musume
Song I WISH
Language Japanese
Genre Pop
Comments Another adorable song (though most of Momosu's songs are adorable <3). I can't remember who begins/ends the song (one of the W girls?) but I love her voice. It's a little squeaky but that further adds to the cuteness. But man is this PV weird O.o I don't get it (someone want to enlighten me?).

Artist Morning Musume
Song Renai Revolution 21
Language Japanese
Genre Pop
Comments I think I'd describe this is pop/disco :3 pretty good combo actually. The song is even better if you've seen the PV. They're in these black pleather outfits in this neo-modern room that actually reminds me of one of TLC's videos. *Download*

Artist Ozaki Ami
Song I Wanna Do More
Language Japanese
Genre Anime (Magic User's Club)
Comments Some friend's had been ranting in IRC about Ozaki Ami so I had them pass on one of her songs. I had actually heard this before, but I didn't care for it at the time. When I listen now I actually appreciate her voice - it's so different than most other artists who sing anime themes (well at least from when Magic Users Club came out). It sort of reminds me of the first ending to Card Captor Sakura, "Groovy".

Artist ?
Song Geki! Teikoku Kagekidan
Language Japanese
Genre Anime (Sakura Taisen)
Comments A very powerful opening I must say, which fits with the show. I know this song has been done a couple of times so I don't know exactly who is singing it, but I'm guessing it's the seiyuu for Sakura. I know there's another version I prefer, but this one is still good.

Artist Takahashi Hiroki
Song Tsubasa ni natte
Language Japanese
Genre Anime (Prince of Tennis)
Comments This is one of Eiji's character songs from Prince of Tennis. It's very laid back and a little bouncy. :3 So very much like Eiji. I give credit to the seiyuu cuz I can imagine singing in character can be rather difficult.

Song Voice Message
Comments OMG SO CUTE X3 The beginning and end of this part is the start up/closing sounds for my laptop. I love how he starts out as Eiji and sort of falls into his normal song. O.o This is the weirdest Seiyuu Message I've heard. Hiroki is so psycho it's great. <3 <3

Artist Crystal Kay
Song Kiss
Language Japanese
Genre Pop
Comments *sways with a lighter* lol so very lovely. Reminds me of Motherland, the ending for Full Metal Alchemist that she did. It's very gentle, and her transitions are very smooth >.> I greatly dislike when artists jump from note to note and having it sound really bouncy. Go Crystal!

Genre Pop
Comments This is a really fun and jumpy song. I really do love Ayaya. She's a great singer and performer. I have a video file of her summer concert from last year and this was one of the songs she did. She was so adorable :3 I highly suggest this song. <3

Artist Yoko Kanno
Song Tank!
Language N/A (well, there's about 2 sentences in English)
Genre Jazz
Comments I'm in a jazzy kind of mood. I went to the Symphony Pops concert with my mom yesterday - Doc Severnson and Patti Austion performed. They did some big band jazz (some Louis Armstrong) so I thought this would be fun to upload. It was the opening theme for Cowboy Bebop. All the music is done by Yoko Kanno, who is the genius composer behind many different anime music.

Artist BoA
Song Girls On Top
Language Korean
Genre Pop/Dance
Comments BoA has finally returned to the Korean music world with her new album, Girls On Top. while it probably isn't my favorite BoA album it does have some great songs. Personally, I'm more of a fan of her Japanese music but there are plenty of Korean songs I love. This is probably my favorite song from the album. It's something you'd hear out on the dance floor in a club or something. I love songs you can dance to, so I guess this strikes a chord with me. :)

Song Love Can Make A Miracle
Language Korean
Genre Pop/Ballad
Comments A really beautiful song from the new cd. I love the piano in the background. Even though I don't know Korean it's a moving song. BoA's very good at putting emotion into her songs. Sometimes when I see videos of her slower songs I cry *^^*

Song Autumn Letter
Language Korean
Genre Acapella
Comments Even though this song is only about 49 seconds it's so beautiful. In the short amount of time she manages to make something so pretty. I think it's the perfect ending to the cd. The birds chirping in the background are a nice touch.

Artist Hamasaki Ayumi
Song Real Me
Language Japanese
Genre Pop
Comments This is from the album Rainbow that came out...mmm 2 years ago? *shrugs* What caught my attention was the English words because I had read somewhere before that Ayu had something like a policy of not putting English in her songs. But anyway, it's kind of your standard Ayu song, but in other ways it isn't. It's kinda hard to describe. Either way, I wish Ayu made music like she did before. I just don't think she's on top of her game as of late. Though I love her, I think she may be on her way out. She was recently dropped from the make-up company Kose as their spokesmodel, and was replaced by Arashino Beni (who I really like, actually).

Artist Fly To The Sky
Song Magic Song
Language Korean
Genre Pop
Comments Honestly I don't know a lot about Fly To The Sky. I've heard of them a lot and downloaded their music, but have never really music. I dug this up today and I rather like it. It's got a nice beat and I think they have a real nice blend.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Artist Head Phones President
Song Fight Out
Language Engrish
Genre Jrock
Comments I've been a fan of HPP for about 4 years, after I learned that their lead singer was none other than Oyama Anza - 1st Sailor Moon in the Sailor Moon musicals. Let me tell you, Anza certainly grew out of that role. She can rock - hard O.o "Fight Out" has a driving beat and good lyrics despite Anza's english being a little hard to understand sometimes. I like listening to HPP when I'm feeling angsty lol. Just a little heads up, there are some bad words in the song.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Artist Tower of Power
Song What Is Hip
Language English
Genre 70's Rock
Comments I really love this song :D It's so funky *grooves* I first heard this on The Drew Carey Show actually. Not much to say - just lots of fun.

Song Be With You
comments Pretty sure this was originally on their Puresoul but I could be wrong (they played it on their '99 Puresoul Tour anyway). I like the beginning, I think because of the piano. The song is nice because it manages to have a little bit of a rock feel without ruining the fact that it's a ballad.

[ music | Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - Dirty Rotten Number ]

Well I sat down and watched the Tony Awards last Sunday, and I must say I wasn't disappointed or bored one bit :D It was the greatest. The new musicals from the past season look positively divine. XD I actually went out the next day and bought 3 of the 4 soundtracks for the new musicals (Spam-a-lot, The Light in the Piazza, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee [I got the first 3]). So I'm updating with songs from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. I'll put up some jpop in a seperate update later this weekend.

Now I am only going to say this once (maybe :3) --- BUY.THIS.SOUNDTRACK. I haven't listened to anything else in the past 2-3 days... not kidding. >.> It's that good. So here we go!

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is based off the movie that starred Michael Caine and Steve Martin. Lawrence Jameson (John Lithgow) is a charming con artist at the Beaumont Sur Mer on the French Riveria. He poses as a poor prince to rich women and gets them to give him their money. Freddy Benson (Nobert Leo Butz) is also a con man who shows up at the resort. Long story short they make a bet - first man to get $50,000 from a chosen woman gets to stay on as the resort con man, the loser leaves. Enter Christine Colgate (Sherie Rene Scott), a rich but clumsy heiress. So who wins? Hmm well you'll have to find out ^.~

Song Give Them What They Want
Artist John Lithgow, Gregory Jbara, & Ensemble
Comments Yes, folks, John Lithgow. He is so god damn charming it's funny. He's absolutely perfect if you ask me. You can't tell me this song isn't true (come on ladies, we all want a "prince").

Song Great Big Stuff
Artist Norbert Leo Butz & Ensemble
Comments If you're a musical fanatic like me, then you'll recognize Norbert as Fiyero from Wicked. This is such a far leap from that, but who cares? He's a greedy little guy who wants as much as he can get. "I want some real classy shit. Like a mink track suit." XD Ok then, Freddy, whatever you say.

Song Here I Am
Artist Sherie Rene Scott & Ensemble
Comments Oh I just want to hug her! <3 She sounds so cute and naive, which is perfect for the character. Christine is just so happy to be at the Beaumont Sur Mer, but ,poor thing, she's so clumsy ^^;; running into the bellhops and such. I've been randomly belting this out the past few days (at home, at work, etc).

Song Like Zis/Like Zat
Artist Gregory Jbara & Joanna Gleason
Comments Gregory plays Andre, Lawrence's butler but he's actually the Chief of Police (but Lawrence doesn't know that). Joanna (some of you may recognize her as the Baker's Wife from Into the Woods) plays Muriel, a rich woman at the resort. Lawrence sends Andre out to romance her so she doesn't ruin his new scheme (he met Muriel before, and he doesn't want her to recognize him and ruin his plan). This is really a cute song. I can picture them sitting out under the moontlight. I like the way they play with the French accent (hence the title)

Song Dirty Rotten Number
Artist John Lithgow & Norbert Leo Butz
Comments This is a fun little number that just makes me wanna get up an sing. John and Norbert have great chemistry. This is one of the last tracks, but it won't ruin the ending for you guys. Well - here's a tiny spoiler - they both lose the bet (don't worry, I won't say how), but they both had a blast despite that. ^^

Artist: Yu Miyake, Masayuki Tanaka
Song: Katamari on the Rock ~ Main Theme
Language: Japanese (with Engrish)
Comments: If you've ever played the game Katamari Damacy game for PS2 then you've probably heard this song :D It's so much fun and it gets stuck in your head *very* easily. I haven't actually played the game, but I hear it's lots of fun. Highly Recommended.

Song: AI sentai tachikomans
Language: Japanese
Comments: OMG uber cuteness warning :3 *dancedance* In the anime Ghost in the Shell: Stand Along Complex the agents at Section 9 have battle machines called Tachikomas. They may be machines, but they have super cute voices/personalities (oh ho machines with personality? crazy go nuts!). I love this song. Another one that can get stuck in your head.

Artist: Hironari Amano
Song: Salinger
Language: Japanese
Comments: I would've passed over this song if not for the singer's name. It took me a few seconds but then I remembered -- he played Tuxedo Kamen in the Sailor Moon musicals opposite Hara Fumina (this was probably around 1999, I think). It's not a bad song. I haven't bothered to check for a translation, so I don't know why he's singing about Salinger (J.D. Salinger, author of Catcher in the Rye and other literary works). But whatever, it's still good.

Artist: Glay
Song: Stay Tuned
Language: Japanese
Comments: Well you guys got a taste of Glay's ballads last week so I figured you needed some of their rock stuff. This is one of my favorites by them. It's got a great beat and gives you a good feeling. The PV is pretty awesome too (a live concert, random shots of fans, great fun :3).

I've forgotten how much I really hate dial-up until now T_T it's have taken roughly 3 hours to upload 3 songs...someone kill me now *sigh* I had hoped to upload the whole CD, but what I guess I'll do now is upload a few over the next couple days until the whole CD is up. So keep checking back I guess *shrug*

Comments: Glay was the first Japanese band I'd ever heard (all the way back in 2000, folks). I immediately fell in love with them. They had a great style, sound, plus they were all pretty cute (Takuro, the lead guitarist and song composer, has recently become quite desireable). Their latest CD is a collection of all their ballads over the past 10 years they've been around. I'm not usually much of a ballad person but these are all winners. The DVD for the White Road Tour is coming out next month, so I'll be saving up for that. >.> Hopefully they'll start putting out songs again now that they're done touring.

However - This is a bit gentler than the past couple ones I think. Mostly due to the piano and violins at the start. Even the guitars don't really take away that "gentle" feeling later on.

zutto 2 hito de - Ah maybe I was wrong about the last one...this one has more violins in the beginning so it seems...gentler ^^;; I keep using that word cuz it's hard to have good vocabulary at 2 am lol. Well anyway it's a good song. <3

Nyaa sorry I disappeared last week x.x;; it was so hectic what with my last exam, moving out, and Anime Central (which by the way kicked ass). I picked up a few CDs at the con, so hopefully I'll share em with you soon. Anyway, my friend is letting me use her laptop/cable connection to update so much thanks to her *hugs*. I only grabbed a few songs from a data disc I had because I cleaned everything off my lappy so I can take it in to be fixed...again *sigh* I'll try to have a better selection next week :P

Artist: BoA
Song: Easy To Be Hard
Language: Japanese
Comments: You gotta love BoA >.> *shakes fist* you gotta! ^^;; Just a fun little song here. One of the first set of songs I heard from her.

Artist: BoA
Song: No. 1
Language: Korean
Comments: Not much to say. Standard BoA pop <3 very nice.

Artist: BoA feat. soul'd out
Song: La La La Love Song
Language: Japanese
Comments: I've only recently become a fan of soul'd out, but I've had this song for awhile. Actually...I think I posted this before *checks* yep...whoops ^^;; well anyway it's a cover and I like it.

Artist: SweetS
Song: Love Raspberry Juice (hi-q 146 mix)
Language: Japanese
Comments: SweetS songs can be pretty hyper already, so the mixes are like SweetS on crack XD *jumps around* good thing I'm hyper right now then teehee

Artist: SweetS
Song: Never Ending Story (album mix)
Language: Japanese
Comments: Don't really know how this is a "mix" but I won't argue (too lazy). Real nice, give it a listen <3

Artist: SweetS
Song: Resistance ~Akenaikimoti~
Language: Japanese
Comments: This one kinda has a 70's feel *grooves* I recommend this ^^

Artist: Kawamoto Naru (Kawamura Takashi)
Song: Burning Heart | Seiyuu Message
Language: Japanese
Comments: Takashi is one of the Seigaku boys from Prince of Tennis <3 I was actually kinda surprised by Taka's character song. Naru's voice kinda has a roughness to it, which fits with the song perfectly. The seiyuu message is fun to listen to as well. It's fun hearing what seiyuu really sound like.

~*Requests Open*~ [09 May 2005|11:57pm]
[ mood | blah ]

Sorry for the late update. I just kept gettin' more and more delayed with things this weekend :P Anyway, the update! No theme (I'm not that creative lately), just threw a bunch of songs in here. Requests are open. Please be reasonable - 2-3 songs at most. My playlists are in my userinfo, but I may not have those songs because a) I had all those before my harddrive crashed b) I took a lot of things home this weekend so the music may be there. Request something even if it's not on the list cuz I may have it *shrug*. Since I move outta here on Thursday I'm gonna do another big update like at midnight or something (I have an exam in the morning, and I have to move out at noon so I have to update before then).

Artist: Morning Musume
Song: Osaka Koi no Uta
Language: Japanese
Comments: The newest single from the 7th gen Momusu girls. It's your standard sort of Morning Musume song - cute, poppy, etc. If you're a fan, why not add this to your collection. I'm pretty picky about my Hello! Project songs :P mostly cuz they all sound the same after awhile, but I think I'll keep this one for awhile.

Song: Nature Is Good
Comments: The other song off of their new single. >.> Granted the title is a bit odd, but it's a good song. Slower than the song above, but still upbeat.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Artist: Hamasaki Ayumi
Song: Is This Love?
Language: Japanese
Comments: Ayu's new single, another "Rock Ayu" song. If you ask me Ayu's been off her game lately. It's not like this is a bad song or anything and there's nothing wrong with "Rock Ayu" songs (hell I liked "Humming 7/4"), it's just that I guess I'm more used to "Ballad Ayu". This one's got a nice driving beat and Ayu does put some power behind it.

Song: Step You
Comments: ...What does "Step You" mean anyway? ^^;; I perfer this one to "Is This Love?". It's got a little bit of a digital thing going on in the background. Plus this seems more like something you'd hear at a club or something. Also the PV is pretty cool too <3 Pretty Ayu in different outfits.

Artist: Gackt
Song: Black Stone
Language: Japanese
Comments: After Gackt's pansy ballad phase this new single is very much welcome by me T_T I started listening to Gackt back in high school when he was doing his standard 'rock out' songs <3 and I loved them. But honestly his last album really put me off of him for a long while. It was all whiny ballads and love songs :P ew. This however is awesome. Download it <3

Song: Ash
Comments: Starts out very mellow which I guess is good if you want to calm down after "Black Stone", but the beat picks up after a couple measures. It picks up and slows down, but not randomly so it's out of place or anything. This one's worth a listen.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Artist: Se7en
Song: Passion
Language: Korean
Comments: I noticed I hadn't really put much music that wasn't Japanese lately. I only recently started listening to Se7en cuz people kept telling me how great his was. So I gave in and downloaded some songs. <3 So very glad I did. Se7en's pretty awesome. I love his R&B style, and the song is great for some hip-hop dancing.

Song: 2 Steps
Language: Korean
Comments: I don't know how to describe this. Basically - R&B, dance-able, smooth, good beat. ^^;; I can't help but describe a lot of songs as "dance-able". I'm a dancer, darn it!

Song: Hikari
Language: Japanese
Comments: Se7en made the crossover to the Japanese music scene this year with this single. It's a pretty good song. This one seems a bit more pop rather than his usual R&B/hip hop style.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Artist: Paradise Go!! Go!!
Song: Zettai
Language: Japanese
Comments: I had this a couple of months ago, but lost if when my harddrive crashed ;.; Which made me sad cuz I really loved it. Lucky for me wapiko over at [info]shekimusic is very nice and uploaded it for me <3 It's very upbeat and cute. These girls all have pretty good voices, and they sound real good together. If you like SweetS then you'll like them. ^^

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Artist: BoA
Song: Do The Motion
Language: Japanese
Comments: I am just loving BoA's new 'grown up' style of music. She's finally ready to show everyone she's not that cute little girl anymore (granted she's still quite cute). She's gonna be 19 in the fall so I'd say it's about time. The song has quickly become of my favorites from her. It's got a bit of a Latin beat to it, which I think is what kind gives it it's sophistication

Song: Quincy
Language: Japanese
Comments: Another of my newer favorite BoA songs. I hadn't heard this one til about March of this year (it came out last August so just goes to show ya how behind I get). This is probably one of the songs that started her move from cute little pop star to sexy grown up pop star <3

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Artist: Dong Bang Shin Ki
Song: Stay With Me Tonight
Language: Japanese
Comments: DBSK, like Se7en, is making the crossover to the Japanese music scene. They certainly did a nice job. It's still the same DBSK boy band sound, just in Japanese ^^. If you're a fan then I suggest adding this to your collection. If you're not a fan >.> you should be lol.

Song: Whatever They Say (Acapella)
Language: Korean
Comments: Just thought I'd sneak this in. Cute little acapella song. <3 They have such a great blend together *melts*

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Artist: Crystal Kay
Song: Bye My Darling!
Language: Japanese
Comments: Another little gem of an artist that I only just found. I've been missing out people. Crystal is awesome. Her voice is so nice and clear. This song's the first one off of her new album Crystal Style. If you can pick it up somewhere. It'd say it's worth the money.

Song: Make You Mine (English version)
Language: English
Comments: Another one from Crystal Style. Crystal could easily release this over here in the US and I think it would do well. >.> Seriously...she should. It's very 'sexy' sounding (like something you'd see on MTV -- but better).

Song: Motherland
Language: Japanese
Comments: Another lovely song from Crystal. Some of you will recognize this as one of the endings for the anime Full Metal Alchemist, which I love to death. I really love this song cuz it just sounds so mellow and sweet. *sways* very lovely.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Artist: Porno Graffitti
Song: Neo Melodramatic
Language: Japanese
Comments: Pretty cool song. Very 'rockish'. Porno Graffitti's becoming one of my regulars in my playlist now ^^

Song: Melissa
Language: Japanese
Comments: Another song for the FMA fans out there. This was the first opening song for Full Metal Alchemist. Sometimes I wonder how these anime shows get these big name jpop/jrock people (i.e. FMA got people like Porno Graffiti, L'Arc~en~ciel, and Crystal Kay; InuYasha got Ayu, BoA, and Do As Infinity). All that aside this song is pretty cool. I think it fits with the series just right.

Artist: MC Chris
Song: Fetts Vette
Language: English
Comments: I'm doin' this not only cuz I love MC Chris, but also in honor of the fact that he just went to Skywalker Ranch, George Lucas's ranch home (MC, you lucky bastard). This is what I would classify as 'Nerd Rap'. XD Great for all you [adult swim]/Star Wars fans out there. Give this a listen if only for giggles.

Song: Overture - Work Song
Artist: Prisoners, Inspector Javart, Jean Valjean
Comments: *cue dramatic music* Pretty spiffy opening, very dramatic. Let's ya know what's been happening up til then. I <3 Javart and Valjean.

Song: Who Am I
Artist: Jean Valjean
Comments: Valjean managed to escape parole, and becomes mayor of a town years later. He meets up with Javart, who doesn't recognize him. Javart tells him that he caught a man who is thought to be Valjean. Valjean wonders whether he should confess who he really is. Man, that note he hits at the end it like...wow O.o

Song: Master of the House
Artist: the Thénardiers & Ensemble
Comments: XD One of my favorite songs. The Thénardiers are very untrustworthy (but quite amusing) people who run an inn.

Song: Bring Him Home
Artist: Jean Valjean
Comments: This is lovely-ness. Valjean sings a prayer that Marius will live through the battle so that he can be with Valjeans adopted daughter, Cosette. ;.; I almost cried when my friend sang this when he played Valjean.
